Lorn released his debut album Nothing Else on Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label back in 2010.
Now he is firmly at home with London based Ninja Tune records and is preparing to release his second LP Ask The Dust in June. Ghosts is the first cut to be taken from that release.

Perfect evening jam of Toro Y Moi’s “Still Sound” by Toby Tobias who is often found producing mixes of the classic house, disco boogie vein.
From the little I have heard from Dauwd, it has become clear that the young Welsh producer makes music with complexity and thought, attributes that could be seen to have abandoned many these days. The three tunes on his upcoming release on Pictures Music show evidence of a young man layering lush sounds on mature beats in ways that many of his contemporaries have not.
Growing up in Wales, Dauwd played piano, guitar and drums whilst experimenting with electronic production“making housey techno, and drum and bass kinda vibes, sampling bits of my favourite tracks, or anything random”. The experience in these “real” instruments shines through in the melody of this little gem.
I’m sure we’ll be hearing more in the coming months…
