Introducing: Alarmist

I haven’t felt the need to write much here the last few months, apologies, that’s what having a job can do to oneself.However, that all changed last week when I stumbled across Alarmist.

Comprising of Neil Crowley, Elis Czerniak (of Halves) Osgar Dukes and Barry O’Halpin, Alarmist instantly hit me with their beautiful lush, atmospheric sound which conjures up the influence of Jaga Jazzist jamming with Red Sparrows. A lovely clash of post-rock meets post-jazz. The Dublin based four piece are releasing their debut EP at Block T, Smithfield, on August 19th.
